Marinated Beef

Ingredients for Marinade

  • 175 mL dark ale, 1/4 cup
  • 15 mL chopped garlic, 1 Tbsp.
  • 50 mL Dijoin mustard, 1/4 cup
  • 50 mL honey, 1/4 cup
  • 5 mL fresh chopped thyme, 1 tsp.
  • 25 mL finely chopped onions, 2 Tbsp.
  • Fresh cracked pepper and salt to taste

Ingredients for Beef

  • 500 g beef 4-125g (4 oz.) portions, 1 lb.

 

Instructions

  • Whisk together marinade ingredients.
  • Place marinade and beef in a zip lock bag and refrigerate at least 24 hours.
  • Remove beef and pat dry to roast or barbecue.
  • Beef suggestion - eye of round
  • Yield: 4 servings.
