Hot Horsepower Dip

Ingredients

  • 250 mL Light (5% fat) sour cream, 1 cup
  • 15 mL Cilantro, chopped, 1 tbsp.
  • 10 mL Prepared horseradish sauce, 2 tsp.
  • 10 mL Dijon mustard, 2 tsp.
  • 3 drops Hot sauce or to taste
  • 25 mL Ground flaxseed (can also use 10 mL (2 tsp.) flaxseed oil or 25 ml (2 tbsp.) toasted whole flaxseed), 2 tbsp.

 

Instructions

  • Combine sour cream, cilantro, horseradish, mustard and hot sauce in food processor.
  • Blend until uniform.
  • Stir in ground flaxseed.
  • Cover and refrigerate 1/2 to 1 hour.
  • Serve with assorted crackers or fresh vegetables.
  • Yield: 250 mL (1 cup)
  • Serving Size: 50 mL (1/4 cup)
