Hot Horsepower Dip
Ingredients
- 250 mL Light (5% fat) sour cream, 1 cup
- 15 mL Cilantro, chopped, 1 tbsp.
- 10 mL Prepared horseradish sauce, 2 tsp.
- 10 mL Dijon mustard, 2 tsp.
- 3 drops Hot sauce or to taste
- 25 mL Ground flaxseed (can also use 10 mL (2 tsp.)
flaxseed oil or 25 ml (2 tbsp.) toasted whole flaxseed), 2 tbsp.
Instructions
- Combine sour cream, cilantro, horseradish, mustard
and hot sauce in food processor.
- Blend until uniform.
- Stir in ground flaxseed.
- Cover and refrigerate 1/2 to 1 hour.
- Serve with assorted crackers or fresh vegetables.
- Yield: 250 mL (1 cup)
- Serving Size: 50 mL (1/4 cup)
