Great Canadian Mustard Festival in Regina, Saskatchewan, August 8 to 10

From August 8 to 10, a few restaurants in Regina will be serving up a menu that incorporates mustard, the healthy spice that adds flavor. The participating restaurants are: Crave, The Willow on Wascana, and Beer Brothers Bakery & Cuisine.

The mustard festival wraps up with a mustard cook-off on Sunday, August 10th, at The Willow on Wascana (3000 Wascana Drive, Regina, SK, phone: 306-585-3663). The fun starts at 3:00 pm on the grand deck outside.

Some of Regina's most talented chefs will create dishes that feature mustard as an ingredient. The dishes will be judged by a panel of culinary experts, but will also be sampled by the general public attending the event.

Tickets $15, available Jul 28 to Aug 8 at: Crave (1925 Victoria Ave), The Willow on Wascana (3000 Wascana Dr), Beer Brothers Bakery and Cuisine (1821 Scarth St). Also available at the door.

Come join in the fun and eat as much of the food as you like. Then vote for your favorite, the most popular dish will win People's Choice. Children are welcome, bring the kids down to sample the food.

There will also be a number of mustard industry representatives showing off mustard related products. If you're interested in mustard, this is the event for you!
